FEEL Series (Family Empowerment for Everyday Living)

Session I: Nutrition 101: Building Balanced, Sustainable Eating Habits

Wed., May 13, 2026, followed by lunch for in-person attendees

Virtual presentation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.

In collaboration with No Diet Dietitian, this session will address common nutrition myths and misconceptions, provide a basic understanding of balanced nutrition, provide practical strategies for building meals and snacks for sustained energy, and show the relationship between healthy eating and mental and physical well-being. The registration fee is $35 for in-person attendance and $25 for Zoom participation.

Stillness & Awakening: A Mindfulness and Yoga Retreat

Dates: June 26th - 28th, 2026

Time: 3:00 PM Friday to 1:00 PM Sunday

Led by Buddhist Monk Bhante Rathana and Yoga Instructor Loretta Richardson, this retreat welcomes both beginners and experienced practitioners. It is a gentle invitation to slow down and reconnect. Through meditation, yoga, time in nature, and mindful community eating and living, we will cultivate harmony in body, mind, and heart. In silence, in movement, and in the shared presence of compassion-based teachings, participants will experience reflection, connection, and inner stillness within a peaceful and supportive environment.
